From an inflammation of the sheath that surrounds a tendon (tenosynovitis) due to monotonous work strain, acute injury or surgery down to chronic degenerative disorders, the causes for complaints in the wrist are as varied as the people they affect: an IT expert with RSI syndrome, a performance gymnast with a strain or a retiree with osteoarthritis.
The individual need for stabilization during daily routines and throughout the recovery process can be just as varied. Regardless of the diagnosis, however, it is important to mobilize the wrist again as quickly as possible.

This is exactly what our ManuTrain active support accomplishes. With an extra stay and a Velcro strap, varying degrees of stabilization are available depending on your condition. The seamless knit of the comfort zone between the thumb and index finger enables a comfortable grip; an ergonomic cushion, or pad, protects the nerves and vessels against pressure. The breathable knitted fabric is made of a special yarn developed by Bauerfeind. It is low-maintenance, washable and breathable, preventing unpleasant sweating.

At the same time, it stimulates the metabolism during movement with a constant intermittent compression massage. This helps to reduce swelling and actively contributes to pain relief: the wrist is able to recover “in action”, and muscle development is accelerated, while the progress of chronic disorders such as osteoarthritis is slowed down.
